## Suno AI data breach ([404 Media](https://www.404media.co/hack-reveals-suno-ai-music-generator-scraped-youtube-deezer-and-genius/))

Hacker breached Suno's database and exposed source code howing how the company scraped music to train its AI. Digital Music News called the breach a "smoking gun" in ongoing copyright infringement lawsuits. Suno admitted scraping the web [last year](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cjdrl7lr039o) and argued the practice was legal.

The hacker told 404 Media they also accessed Suno's customer list, emails, phone numbers and Stripe payment details. Suno told [Pitchfork](https://pitchfork.com/story/suno-has-been-hacked-youtube-deezer-genius/) no personal data was compromised and the exposed code was outdated.

The breach exposes the fragile cybersecurity of popular companies.

Amy Davis and James Duval (“Frank the Bunny” from *Donnie Darko*) play a pair of rival conceptual artists battling for fame and funding in the near-future dystopia of Sh\*tville, Earth. As one ascends the heights of neoliberal capitalist success, the other seeks inspiration and solace in the euphoric waves of a new cyber drug called Skullf\*ck.

Ingenious production design and savvy location shooting evoke the urban sprawl and rural industrial collapse against which the filmmakers frame this scathing satire of art world pretension.
